The Power of Signs in Circle Time

Did you know that circle time is one of the best ways to teach your preschooler/kindergarten age child the skills they need for school? Miss Christine has experience with hundreds of circle times both as a professional and as a homeschooling parent. She's found that one of the best way to keep kids engaged and learning is to keep those hands moving with signs! Join Miss Christine as she walks you through the basic parts of a circle time, how to target age appropriate skills while incorporate signs, and demonstrate common signs to use. Whether you're a new preschool teacher with 15 kids, a homeschooling parent with just one kid, or just want to learn how to run a circle time - these short classes are for you! There are 2 different classes and they are $5 each. Rather than a single one hour class, the material is broken down into 2 short classes for the convenience of those who only need one part of the information presented. Class 1 - How to run a circle time (30 min) (basic structure, suggested materials, brief discussion on basic learning types, and how to target age appropriate skills) Upcoming Class 1 sessions: -Tuesday, August 8th, 2023 at 8:00PM Class 2 - Using signs in circle time (30 min) (most common signs, demonstrations, and where to find additional signs) Upcoming Class 1 sessions: -Thursday, August 10th, 2023 at 8:00PM Note: these classes are NOT part of the research based classes from the Baby Signs® Program.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made to Miss Christine via phone (336) 818-9876 or e-mail (babysignswithmisschristine@gmail.com) no less than 24 hours before a scheduled workshop or the first day of a play class series in order to receive a refund of the amount you paid, minus a $3 cancellation fee. If a workshop is canceled by the facility or instructor, you may choose to reschedule or receive a refund . If a play class is canceled by the facility or instructor, you may choose to get a pass for a make-up class or receive a refund. We do not offer partial refunds or discounted rates if you cancel or are unable to attend a play class. If you are unable to attend any of our in-person classes or workshops due to COVID symptoms, please contact Miss Christine to arrange a refund.
